Centre for Excellence and Outcomes Grant (CfEO Grant)

The Department for Children, Schools and Families (DCSF) launched a bidding process during the week commencing 19 November 2007 to award a grant to deliver the business of the Centre for Excellence and Outcomes (CfEO) in Children and Young People's Services.

Application Process

The successful bidder will fall into one of the following categories: a single supplier, a consortium of partner organisations or a joint venture organisation, with the latter two having one clear lead-organisation responsible for delivery.

An Expression of Interest Information pack and Application form are now available to download. The deadline for expressions of interest to be submitted is 10 January 2008.

Briefing

A Provider Briefing event was held on 10 December 2007 in London to give potential bidders the opportunity to hear more information about the DCSF's vision for the CfEO and the grant process; to ask questions, and network with other interested parties. The latest version of the Q&A briefing (18.12.07), available above, incorporates points raised at the Provider Briefing event and in subsequent correspondence.

Please email our specialist advisers PricewaterhouseCoopersfor any of the following requests: to receive the slides from the Provider Briefing event, to ask any other questions about the grant sourcing process, to be put on the potential bidders mailing list or to request a list of contact details for other interested parties.

Please Note
The CfEO is intended to be operational in July 2008, at which point these web pages will be removed.
