Developing Children’s Centres

Children's Centres are a one-stop service providing parents-to-be, parents and carers with information and integrated services which are family-focused and flexible to meet families' needs. There are over 1500 children's centres now up and running and there is growing body of expertise and experience available to support further development, including : working with schools; organising outreach work; integrating childcare; working with other agencies, and supporting parents.
