Letting the Future In highlights the innovative projects supported by the Local Network Fund for Children and Young People and celebrates what can be achieved when people come together with ideas to improve the opportunities for children and young people.
Over 2,000 projects have been supported by the Local Network Fund since it was launched in 2001. The projects which have been highlighted illustrate the wide range of initiatives that local groups have developed. The publication is divided into five chapters representing the five Every Child Matters outcomes.
We believe that the projects covered in this publication will benefit current and prospective projects to develop new activities. Parmjit Dhanda, Parliamentary Under Secretary ofState for Children and Families, provides the opening foreword.
