This support pack has been put together by DH and DfES. It is designed for all local planners and commissioners, including council members, regional change advisers and directors of children's services.
This pack is designed to support discussions about the implementation of the joint planning and commissioning framework for children, young people and maternity services. It will also help you to understand more about joint planning and commissioning and to host workshops to help planners and commissioners to think about developments.
The pack includes:
-
Joint planning and commissioning presentation
A presentation with detailed supporting notes to share with colleagues and to use in workshops.
-
Case studies
Seven case studies to discuss good practice in other local areas.
-
Discussion paper on joint commissioning skills and workshop
material
Helps you to consider any skills gap which may slow down developments.
