This training manual has been developed as part of NCB's work on
the
Healthy Care Programme, a DfES funded project.
The Healthy Care training programme has been designed for use by course leaders and trainers who are delivering training on a range of health and well-being issues, to groups of foster carers and residential social workers in local authority and independent sector residential homes.
The pack contains information, activity plans and resources for a two-day training course on promoting the health and well-being of looked-after children and young people. It includes information about the Healthy Care Programme and the National Healthy Care Standard.
