As part of the government commitment to support local areas in their change programmes, the roadmap provides a high-level view of what is required to implement the key integrated working processes and tools. It is designed to assist senior/project management within local authorities and their partners with the early scoping and planning for these implementations.
The roadmap illustrates the key activities to be undertaken by local authorities and practitioner organisations in implementing the Common Assessment Framework, the lead professional and service directories.
It also provides guidance on how to improve practice in sharing information and inter-agency working.
It includes sequencing, prerequisites, critical success factors and interdependencies for the activities.
