Protecting Children – Supporting Foster Carers - Dealing with an Allegation

This document aims to provide foster carers and their families with information about what happens if an allegation of abuse or neglect is made against them, or about other situations where there is serious concern about their practice or standards of care.

It will also be helpful to child care workers involved in investigations of foster carers, looked-after young people, their advocates and birth families.
