Industry techniques and inspiration for commissioners

This booklet is a useful resource for those with responsibility for commissioning services for children, young people, and maternity services.  It is designed to aid commissioners by providing some insights into the way business and industry tackles challenges which are comparable to those of the Every Child Matters: Change for Children programme.  It does so by summarising a range of techniques and approaches that have been developed in the private sector and that appear to have the potential for being applied to the tasks faced by children's trusts.
