These training slides and detailed facilitators notes explore the implications of integrated working for operational managers and, in particular, the implications for managing front-line staff in different integrated working settings. The module has been designed as a 2.5 hour facilitated workshop with a small number of introductory slides, plus specific exercises and suggested discussion points.
This workshop explores:
- Typical policies, procedures and organisational structures associated with
integrated working
- Specific challenges of integrated working and the likely support
requirements of practitioners
- Roles of managers in sponsoring and supporting integrated working
- Types of strategy that can be used to effectively support and supervise practitioners and facilitate integrated working
Please note that these materials do not cover setting up and managing multi-agency teams which is covered in the multi-agencyarea of this website
These materials were developed to accompany the information sharing, CAF and lead professional guidance issued in April 2006. They provide core training materials which local authorities and their partners can use as they stand or adapt to local needs.
