The design and operation of ContactPoint will adhere to the international standard for information security management systems (ISO27001). This standard addresses many of the key issues including physical, environmental and personnel security along with communications, operations management and compliance policy. It has been developed to give confidence both to those using the system and those whose information is held on it.
ContactPoint will also conform with relevant Government security standards and has been subject to review by independent security experts.
