The national contract for the placement of children in residential homes is the second in a suite of national contracts. It has been developed and made available for use by local authority commissioners and all providers in the children's residential homes market.
The DCSF will be reviewing the contract during the first year to see how well it works. A questionnaire will be circulated nationally seeking views during the Spring of 2008.
If you have any enquiries about the contract, or any other comments you would wish to make in the interim, please email Kate Bosher.
