These leaflets look at the benefits of targeted youth support and how its effective implementation can help to achieve other related government targets and priorities such as a reduction in youth homelessness and narrowing the attainment gap in schools.

Aimed at practitioners and policy makers within local and central government and partner organisations, the leaflets provide information about what targeted youth support is, how to engage with it and the benefits it brings. They also include case study material and a resources and contacts section for more information.

To help you select the leaflet most appropriate to your needs, we have provided some detail of the context here:

  • Targeted youth support and housing practitioners - working together to tackle youth homelessness

  • Targeted youth support - schools and local children's services working together to support vulnerable young people

  • Targeted youth support - bringing local services together to tackle NEET

  • Targeted youth support bringing local services together to tackle anti-social behaviour and youth offending

  • Targeted youth support and teenage pregnancy services working together to reduce teenage pregnancy rates and support young parents

Further leaflets will be added as they become available.
