The accompanying guidance note, SCRs Action note, sets out the Government's expectations of the immediate action now needed to improve the integrity and effectiveness of SCRs to provide a more effective basis for making necessary improvements to local safeguarding arrangements, particularly in respect of the chairing arrangements for SCR Panels.
