The DCSF commissioned Ipsos-MORI to run deliberative events with practitioners who work with children and young people. Eight regional events were held in September and October 2007, covering each Government Office region. The reports describe the discussions at the events, covering a broad range of safety issues child protection, accident prevention, internet safety, bullying as well as discussions on the role of Local Safeguarding Children Boards and feedback on the proposals in the Staying Safe consultation document. The Staying Safe Action Plan was published in February 2008 in response to the consultation, and can be accessed from this website's Staying Safe page.
